Duck Landing Cafe was added to the park in 2019 and we have served and met thousands of people. It is a delight to meet new people each year! We feel that Sylvan Heights is a beautiful place to visit and we hope to see YOU soon!
Where the Heck is Scotland Neck?
Our Scottish roots are reflected in our name. In 1722 a colony of Scotch Highlanders led by Lord Nairn settled in the "Neck" of the Roanoke River. Scotland Neck is known for it's center street parking and outdoor adventures!
Scotland Neck is about and hour and half from Raleigh and we are not too far from the Virginia line. It's located about 50 mins from Washington and Greenville. It is home to Sylvan Heights Bird Park... the largest collection of birds in America! Duck Landing Cafe is located inside Sylvan Heights Bird Park!
