Duck Landing Café was established in 2019 by the Parker family, and since then, it has been our pleasure to welcome thousands of visitors. Meeting new faces each year is something we truly enjoy, and we’re grateful to be part of so many memorable visits.
Duck Landing Café is now proudly operated by the friendly owners and staff of Home Town Hardware and General Store of Scotland Neck. While we serve guests visiting the park, the café operates independently and is not affiliated with Sylvan Heights Bird Park. We are a private provider of food services for park visitors. A portion of your payment does support the park's waterfowl conservation efforts!

Where the Heck is Scotland Neck?
Our Scottish roots are reflected in our name. In 1722 a colony of Scotch Highlanders led by Lord Nairn settled in the "Neck" of the Roanoke River. Scotland Neck is known for it's center street parking and outdoor adventures!
Scotland Neck is about and hour and half from Raleigh and we are not too far from the Virginia line. It's located about 50 mins from Washington and Greenville. It is home to Sylvan Heights Bird Park... the largest collection of birds in America! Duck Landing Cafe is located inside Sylvan Heights Bird Park!
